Premises

1. Design

I spend a good deal of time poking about “teh internets” and spend a certain percentage of that time reviewing, appreciating, and admiring good web design. I do not, however, practice good web design. Balancing my weak creativity against my weaker sense of practicality is entirely too time consuming and effortful an endeavor to take on alone. I have repeatedly proven to myself that, when a website is difficult to update, I just don't take the time to do the updating. So, be it hereforth recognized that I am aware of what constitutes good design and the paucity of thought that went (or did not went?) into this particular site is not a failure to understand but a refusal to bother with aforementioned good design.

2. Content

This site comprises a collection of my monthly writings (henceforth “articles”). These articles follow a set of self-imposed rules.

    1. Each article, despite whatever various digressions it may take, must have an overarching and cardinal subject or concern.

    2. The central topic (see Heading 2 § 1) chosen for each article is chosen by me, probably at random, with little or nothing relevant to say and certainly of no interest to anybody but myself.

    3. The article must be a minimum of 1000 words.

    4. Articles will be published monthly. The deadline will be midnight on the first Monday of every month.

3. Miscelania

As with everything I do, all content on this site is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License.
